TabTrade — The Short Version
TabTrade launched in Q1 2026. Online broker registered in Saint Lucia, licensed through Saint Lucia's FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.
His background is relevant. It means the leadership is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. It is better than a founder with no industry background.
The broker opened with Equinix data centre access in London. Same data centres banks and hedge funds use. Usually a new brokerage leads with marketing and bonuses. TabTrade led with infrastructure. Unusual for a new broker.
Market coverage: forex, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, equities, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For something that launched in March 2026, that coverage is not narrow.
Platforms
They offer: MT5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Two major platforms from a single account. Most brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Access to both makes a difference. Use whichever you prefer.
MT5 is what most people know. Complete charts, automated trading, huge user base. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform previously, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader is the alternative. Better DOM. Faster charting. Native automated trading. A lot of traders prefer it once they try it.
FIX API is available for algo traders but requires the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView is reportedly coming. That would be a good addition when it lands.
Accounts and Pricing
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. No commission. Easy to track. No minimum deposit. Suits beginners.
Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the actual interbank spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. So your real cost sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is good for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level want $500 or more to open. TabTrade has no minimum.
VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, execution under 20ms, tailored rates. Not for typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you move real size.
Execution Speed
The speed is the area where this broker separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Under 30ms on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. Those are not marketing fluff. The average platform operate at hundreds of milliseconds.
Does this affect you? If you trade small timeframes, absolutely. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you swing trade, it matters less. What matters is the infrastructure is there. That says they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Put together that execution speed with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and what you get holds up. Hardly anyone in this bracket offer execution like this.
Regulation
This is the detail that matters. The broker is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No CySEC. No fund protection scheme. If that is a problem for you, stop reading. Plenty of tier-1 alternatives out there.
However. Benjamin Boulter built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The execution setup costs real money. Dodgy operations do not pay for Equinix connectivity. That does not make it safe. But inform your decision.
The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether that is worth it depends on you.
Welcome Offer
TabTrade offers bonus funds of up to $2,000. Usual welcome offer. You fund your account, TabTrade top up your balance. The normal fine print: turnover conditions before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Check the terms before you commit.
